Hello I'm going to play Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and maybe I'll show you some tips like how to save 40 rupees. OK lets get up to speed. I found the goddess sword and I just need supplies for my trip to the underworld (get it?).
First off let's start with a tip. Talk to this guy. He will give you a wood shield. He is in the same spot as the time you rescue that cat/demon thing . If you go to a bazaar they make you pay like 40 rupees, but he gives it to you for free but i ASSUME you have to save his cat. If you have a shield he will give you a blue rupee instead.

Now you don't NEED a potion but its good to have one on you...just in case. Now go to the sparing hall and learn how to use your shield. And no, that log will
not break your shield.
